IndexNow Sync
A page I published isn’t showing up in the submission dashboard
Submission is triggered by HubSpot’s publish/update event, so it only fires for content published after the app was installed. Pages published before install won’t appear automatically — use the bulk submit tool to send your existing content in one pass.
Does IndexNow Sync guarantee my page gets indexed by Bing?
No tool can guarantee indexing — that decision sits with Bing. IndexNow Sync guarantees the notification is sent the moment you publish, which removes the delay of waiting for a crawler to find the page on its own schedule.
Google Indexing
I’m getting an authentication error when connecting my Google account
This usually means the OAuth grant was only partially completed. Reconnect from the app home in HubSpot and make sure you approve every permission requested — the app only asks for what’s needed to submit indexing requests.
Why does the submission dashboard show a page as failed?
A failed submission usually means the Google Indexing API returned an error for that specific URL — commonly a page that isn’t publicly accessible yet, or one blocked by robots.txt. Check the page is live and crawlable, then resubmit.
Google Search Console Plus
My GSC data in HubSpot looks out of date
Data is pulled from the Search Console API on a schedule and cached for fast loading — it isn’t real-time. If it looks stale for more than a day, reconnect the GSC property from the app home.
Can I connect more than one Search Console property?
The app connects to the GSC property matching your HubSpot domain. If you manage multiple domains on one HubSpot portal, each domain’s data is pulled separately.
llms.txt
My llms.txt file isn’t showing my latest content
The file regenerates automatically when you publish or update HubSpot content. If it looks stale, check whether the page you updated is excluded in the app’s settings, then re-publish to force a refresh.
Can I exclude specific pages from llms.txt?
Yes — exclude specific URLs from the HubSpot app home page. Excluded pages are removed from the generated file on the next update.
Google Algo Alerts
I’m not receiving alert emails
Check your spam folder first, then confirm your email is still listed as a recipient in the app home — recipients can be removed if a previous delivery bounced.
Can I add teammates to receive alerts too?
Yes — add as many extra email recipients as you like from the app home in HubSpot, at no extra cost.
