Why not let AI generate the schema?
AI can invent types, properties, ratings and prices that are not true. Schema for HubSpot only outputs values taken from your HubSpot fields or typed by you, and validates them against the Schema.org vocabulary before deploying.
Where does the schema go on my page?
It is written into the page head HTML in HubSpot, between clearly marked start and end comments. That makes it easy to see, update or remove, and it is present in the page source without any JavaScript.
Will it publish my draft pages?
No. Bulk deploy and auto-sync skip anything that is not published, and deploying to a draft only updates the draft. The app never publishes a page for you.
Does it work with HubSpot blog posts?
Yes. Blog posts get an article node with dates, author and, if you choose, the article text. HubSpot also adds its own automatic BlogPosting markup to blog posts, which cannot be removed by an app, so the page editor notes this.
What does it change on my site?
Only the head HTML of the pages you deploy to, and only between its own marker comments. You can remove the schema from a single page or from all pages at any time.
